While helping out at his mother's pharmacy, Sunak took his first business management class. Sunak received a British aristocratic education. After graduating from Winchester, he went to Oxford to study philosophy, politics and economics. After graduating from an undergraduate degree, he went to Stanford University, one of the Ivy League universities in the United States, to read an MBA. While studying at Stanford, Sunak met his current wife, Adshata Murthy. Her father is Narayana Murthy, an Indian billionaire and co-founder of IT services giant Infosys. The Sunaks have 2 daughters.
After graduation, he worked job email list at the investment bank Goldman Sachs and a hedge fund, and co-founded an investment firm before entering politics. Sunak was elected Conservative MP for Richmond, Yorkshire in 2015, and lives in Kirby Sigston, outside the town of Northallerton.
